Rayon Sports Announce Ticket Prices for “Umunsi w’Igikundiro 2025”

Umunsi w'Igikundiro
Rayon Sports have unveiled ticket prices for their clash against Tanzanian giants Yanga SC, set to take place on August 15 at Amahoro Stadium during the annual club day celebration, “Umunsi w’Igikundiro 2025.”

The nine-time Rwandan champions launched the ticketing system on Tuesday, July 22, marking the first time they will host this event at the modernized Amahoro Stadium.

Last year’s celebration was held at Kigali Pele Stadium against Azam FC, but the venue was deemed inadequate for such a high-profile occasion.

With ticket prices announced three weeks in advance, the club management is expecting one of the largest crowds in the event’s history, particularly as Yanga SC—four-time consecutive Tanzanian champions—are known to travel with a large contingent of passionate supporters.

This year’s event also follows strengthened ties between the two clubs, after Rayon Sports President Thadee Twagirayezu met with Engineer Hersi Ally Said, Yanga SC’s President, last month in Dar es Salaam.

Tickets are priced starting at 3,000 RWF for the upper bowl, while seats in the lower bowl will cost 5,000 RWF.

Classic seats cost 15,000 RWF, VIP tickets 30,000 RWF, and VVIP 100,000 RWF. Executive seats are 150,000 RWF, while the premium Sky Box goes for 2,000,000 RWF.

Rayon Sports will play three friendly matches as part of preparations for Umunsi w’Igikundiro:

  • Rayon Sports vs Gasogi United – August 1, 2025, at Nyanza Playing Ground
  • Rayon Sports vs Gorilla FC – August 6, 2025, at Ngoma Stadium
  • Rayon Sports vs Etincelles FC – August 9, 2025, at Umuganda Stadium

All matches will kick off at 3:00 PM.

Since 2019, Umunsi w’Igikundiro has been a platform for Rayon Sports to present their new signings, unveil the season’s kits and sponsors, and foster stronger bonds between players and fans through music, parades, and entertainment.
