With over a century since its founding in 1893, Toro Club is known as one of the oldest golf clubs in the country.
The beautiful 9 hole course that is located in fort portal tourism city has so far registered a very good number of hole in ones which some people also refer to as ACES. This is a unique shot done by an individual who hits one shot from the teeing ground up to the hole.
AFRIYEA GOLF ACADEMY CEO Isaiah Mwesige has recently been the latest golf player to get an ace on this course getting it from the hardest hole on this Toro Club course, hole number 6 which is on index 1 with 221 yards.

“This has been my first hole in one but hope that this is going to open for me more aces,” said Isaiah. However, Toro club has also registered more aces from different players most notably Denis Asaba who played a hole in one on par 4 and this stands to be the only hole on par in East Africa as of now.
This was witnessed by Isaiah Mwesige, Otile Ronald, Joseph Cwinya-ai playing a driver Titleist D3 hitting a Srixon blue ball. Other players with hole ones are; Light Kisembo on hole number 14, George Kaihura on hole number 15.
Acellum Collins has two on hole 6 and 8, Abdul Mayaja with one on hole 14, Eriah Byaruhanga on hole 14, Abdul Kakeeto a grandson to Abdul Mayaja has also got one on hole 5, Andrew Mugume with one on hole 15, Adolf Muhumuza with the most Aces on 8,5,17 and 8 followed by Happy Robert with aces on 6,14 and 17, Otim Denis with Ace one on 17.
National team captain Cwinyaai Joseph has one on 17, Lawrence Muhenda has one on 15, Jimmy Ategeka has one on hole 15, Victor Kalenzi has one on hole 5, George Kituku with one on hole 8.
