Facing 2023 finalists Senegal, Rwanda was outplayed in every aspect of the game.
Dr. Cheikh Sarr’s team trailed throughout, committed a staggering 38 turnovers, and managed just 37 points. It was their third consecutive game without reaching the 60-point mark.
A fourth-place finisher in the previous edition, Rwanda looked disjointed and overwhelmed throughout the competition. Their attention now turns to salvaging pride in the classification matches.

Senegal, on the other hand, advances to face hosts Côte d’Ivoire in the quarterfinals.
